Fishing means a lot of things
to a lot of people. To some, it is a way to wash away the stresses
of daily life in a beautiful outdoor setting, to others, a chance
to do something really special with the young people in our lives.
Whether it is a wall hanger muskie or walleye, a shore lunch,
or the pure joy of a child's face as they catch their first fish
that you seek, this is the place to carry on the tradition. |

When you stay at Pine Acres Resort, we are
ready with almost anything you need to make your fishing time
more enjoyable.
Services that we offer include waterfront
lodging, our new Marina right on High Falls Flowage, boat, motor
and canoe rental, bait, licenses, fish freezing, guide services,
fish cleaning area and more. |

Our waterfront docking facility is one of a handful
of places on High Falls Flowage that you can dock your boat right
outside your cabin all week while you vacation. The docking area
is lighted with electric hook ups available. Slips are available
for both rental and customer boats. There is a boat landing right
around the corner so launching is a snap. |

The fishing here is outstanding.
The High Falls Flowage is 1,700 acres of Class A northern Wisconsin
muskie water, and trophy bass, northern and walleye are there
too. There are many pan fish for the faster action that the smaller
fish bring. It is not too often that you find a lake of this
size with only a handful of cottages. It is for the most part,
30 miles of unspoiled wild shores. The water has a tannin staining
to it, and there are large granite outcroppings, big fish and
incredible sunsets. It is like a taste of Canada, close to home. |

For those that prefer a little lighter tackle,
there is a special regulation fly fishing area just downstream
of High Falls Flowage, on the Peshtigo River. In fact, Marinette
County has the most miles of trout streams in the state of Wisconsin,
about 700 miles. Most of them are considered "Class A",
with naturally reproducing populations, and many are on wild
and secluded county forest land, yours alone to enjoy.
There are also many spring fed lakes in the
area that will give the smaller lake fisherman a chance at big
bass, trout, walleye, and great pan fish action. You don't have to go far to find the best fishing
in Wisconsin, it is all right here! |
